CHINA POWER (02380) raising $3.9B from top-up placing X

(Infocast News)      CHINA POWER (02380) has announced a top-up placing of 1.03 billion shares at HK$3.8 per share representing a discount of 12.44% to the closing price on the last trading day.

The gross proceeds and net proceeds from the subscription are estimated to be HK$3.9 billion and HK$3.87 billion respectively. 

The company intends to use the proceeds from issuing the subscription shares for the development and expansion of the group’s clean energy business and as general working capital.
