Kohl's 擱置與 Franchise 洽商賣盤 X

<匯港通訊>   美國百貨店集團 Kohl's 終止與 Franchise 集團商討賣盤事宜。Kohl's 主席 Peter Boneparth 表示,鑑於市場波動及商業環境變化,董事會認為,不適宜與 Franchise 繼續商討整體悉售事項,相信有關磋商難以達成共識。

Kohl's 在美國擁有逾1100間門市,6月公布與 Franchise 獨家商討賣盤,Franchise 提出的每股作價為60美元。Franchise 6月27日把每股作價降至53美元。

此外,Kohl's 向下修訂第二財季業績預測,以反映消費者開支疲弱情況。該公司最新估計,收入將錄得高單位數跌幅,而不是原估計的低單位數。 (BC)
