魯賓尼指美國財政部操控債息 耶倫否認指控 X

<匯港通訊>   美國財長耶倫否認經濟師魯賓尼對該部門操控美國國債發行，以壓低孳息率的指稱。

有「末日博士」稱號的魯賓尼較早時在美國媒體撰文，指稱美國財政部策略性地壓低國債孳息。

根據該篇文章，魯賓尼認為，美財政部去年11月增加10年期國債發行額，而不是慣常地發行短債，是有意圖地壓低該款長債的孳息，以協助民主黨在11月總統選舉時得勝。

此前，一些共和黨議員提出有關說法。與魯賓尼聯署該文章的是前總統特朗普政府的財政部官員 Stephen Miran。

耶倫接受外電訪問時稱，財政部絕無運用這項策略，也永不會考慮此法。

報道引述一名不願透露姓名的財政部官員稱，魯賓尼的說法有誤。 （BC)
