G20 財長同意繼續研究開徵巨富稅 X

<匯港通訊>  20國(G20)財長同意,合作尋找可向超級富豪徵稅的有效方案。G20 領袖將於11月18-19日在巴西舉行峰會,相信屆時將有較深入的討論。

作為 G20 輪值主席國,巴西曾經引用經濟學者 Gabriel Zucman 研究報告,提議向超級富豪徵收2%稅項。法國、西班牙及南非支持有關建議。不過,美國反對。

G20 財長周五結束在巴西舉行的會議後發表聯合聲明,表示在尊重各國稅務主權下,將合作打造向超級富豪有效徵稅的方案。

主持 G20 財長會議的巴西財長 Fernando Haddad 認為,今次會議在相關議題上向前邁進一大步,較預期為佳,且有信心日後可達成共識。

美國財長耶倫表示,相關徵稅行動很難落實。

學者 Rogério Studart 認為,只要各國通力合作,阻止超級富豪轉移收入,便可落實有關措施,令到國家有更多金錢扶助弱小。 (BC)
