美國停收中國和香港包裹　外電指或涉管控安全風險 X

<匯港通訊>   美國郵政宣布，當地時間本月4日起，暫停接收來自中國內地和香港的入境國際包裹，信件不受影響，暫停措施將持續至另行通知。

法新社報道，措施正值美國總統特朗普下令，由周二(4日)開始對中國進口產品加徵10%的關稅。

美國郵政亦取消低價值包裹的免稅優惠，這項措施豁免價值800美元或以下的商品免徵關稅。

有美國官員指，中國網上零售商Shein和Temu的快速成長，令近年申請豁免的貨物數量激增的關鍵因素，暫停措施或導致兩間公司的包裹延遲進入美國。而亞馬遜等其他零售商也可能受到影響。

華府一直尋求收緊這項免稅優惠，指包裹數量急增，令篩選貨物減低管控安全風險變得更加困難。(ST)
