加拿大押後對美國鋼鋁加徵報復性關稅計劃 X

<匯港通訊>  美國總統特朗普威脅將於8月1日起,對加拿大產品徵收35%進口關稅後,據媒體報道,加美同意談判期延至8月1日後,加拿大方面不會依照原有計劃,於7月21日起將針對鋼鋁的報復性關稅提高一倍至50%。

加拿大總理卡尼在社交媒體發文表示,加拿大將爭取在8月1日的最後期限內,與美國達成新的貿易協議,這與去年6月七大工業國(G7)集團領導人峰會期間設定的7月21日最後期限相一致。

卡尼回應徵稅函稱,堅定維護本國利益,將加美談判期延至8月1日,同時加強同全球其他貿易夥伴的關係,並在控制芬太尼方面將繼續與美方合作。

美國白宮貿易顧問稱,對加拿大35%的關稅不適用於符合《美墨加協定》的商品。 (BC)
