特朗普擬將外國學生逗留時間限制在4年 X

<匯港通訊>  作為收緊移民規則計劃的一部分,美國總統特朗普政府提議對學生簽證、交流簽證和媒體簽證持有者,實施新的4年逗留期限制。

美國國土安全部(DHS)周三在《聯邦公報》提交的提案中宣布,其計劃修改 F、J 和 I 類簽證。

高等教育和移民業人士 Miriam Feldblum 指出,新規定將會產生更多的不確定性,或干擾學術決策,增加官僚主義障礙,並有可能阻止國際學生、研究人員和學者前往美國。 (BC)
