科技初創Cohere：美加全球AI競賽中佔優勢 將戰勝中國 X

<匯港通訊>   《路透》引述加拿大科技初創公司Cohere行政總裁Aidan Gomez表示，美國和加拿大在與全球採用人工智能(AI)的經濟體合作方面，擁有極大優勢，這讓美加兩國在全球AI競賽中戰勝中國。

Gomez指，中國已經推出性能非常強大的AI模型，與OpenAI等頂級閉源大型語言模型之間的差距縮小，但認為關鍵不是誰最先獲得該技術，而是誰能將該技術大規模商業化，而美國和加拿大在成為全球採用這項技術的合作夥伴方面處於極佳位置，認為美加將戰勝中國。

Gomez此番言論，明顯與AI晶片巨頭輝達(Nvidia)行政總裁黃仁勳最近的言論不同。黃仁勳此前警告，中國在AI領域落後美國只有數納秒(Nanosecond，十億分之一秒)，認為美國仍必須通過持續領先，並贏得全球開發者的青睞來取得優勢，這一點至關重要。 (ST)
