特朗普與全國州長年度會議據報只邀共和黨人 民主黨人揚言杯葛 X

<匯港通訊>     美國總統特朗普與全國各地州長的年度會議，原訂下周五(20日)在白宮舉行，但據報特朗普只邀請共和黨籍的州長出席，民主黨人被排除在外，令會議和之後的晚宴可能告吹。 

報道指，全國州長協會主席兼俄克拉荷馬州州長斯蒂特周一去信其他州長，指白宮只計劃向共和黨人發出邀請，但由於協會是代表全國所有州長，因此已無法安排官方正式會議。18名民主黨籍州長發聲明，指年度會議一向是兩黨合作的機會，如果今年並非所有州長都獲邀出席，將會杯葛在白宮舉行的晚宴。白宮新聞秘書萊維特回應指，特朗普有權決定邀請哪些人到訪白宮。 (ST)
